Remind Baloyi (25) hails from Nwadzekudzeku village in Giyani, Limpopo. He tested HIV positive after a few visits to the local clinic where he was being treated for persistent infection.
After his HIV diagnosis he started taking ARVs which he fondly refers to as a life saver.
Persistent infections are now a thing of the past.
